Hello!

Hey! My name is David… welcome to my site! Either you’re on the hunt for a great photographer or you’re just nosey, but whatever the case you seem to want to know more about who exactly I am… so here’s a brief taste!

I’m a hopeless romantic at heart, which is probably why I love shooting weddings so much. My favourite part about my job is that I get to have a front row seat to see two people experience all of the excitement, anticipation, preparation and happiness that make their wedding day unique and special. I love that I get to play a part in not only helping make the day happen, but also in capturing beautiful memories that will last for decades to come.

I started getting into photography when I was around 12 or so, but didn’t really start experimenting with it until I was 18. Once I got a digital camera I didn’t look back. Eventually some of my friends noticed the quality of my documentary pictures and started asking me to shoot their weddings, and the rest is history. I’ve been shooting professionally since 2007, and between my documentary and wedding work have had the opportunity to shoot in some pretty amazing locations on just about every continent on the planet.

Recently I decided that I’d had enough of going to all these weddings where other people were getting married, so I had my own wedding. I married that beautiful girl you see in the picture to the left on January 1, 2010, and am ridiculously in love with her. Kara often comes with me to assist at weddings, and is great at keeping things organized and running smoothly.
