Last week was their engagement session. This week was their wedding! Joel and Meghan tied the knot on a gorgeous, sunny day in Waterloo, Ontario. I have a ton of great pictures to edit my way through, but couldn’t resist posting a preview of this one. Enjoy the preview, and stay tuned for the full post!

Last summer, Meghan got ahold of me and let me know that she loved my work and wanted to have me shoot their wedding. They’re from out of town, to say the least. Alberta. But they managed to find me in time to book their big day, and today we headed downtown to get some engagement pictures.
These two are an adorable couple! They spent most of the shoot joking around, laughing and flirting with each other while I had the privilege of capturing them in their element. I’ve gotta say, they were easily one of the most naturally photogenic couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting. Here are a few of the results, with more on the way. Enjoy!
Meghan and Joel, congrats! I’m looking forward to the big day next weekend!

On Sunday I had the honour of doing an engagement session with an amazing couple. Ting and Lillian found me more than a year ago and booked me for their October 2010 wedding, but hadn’t had a chance to get their engagement session done until now. So we met up in Cambridge and walked around the downtown area, having a blast while we got some great pictures of the two lovebirds. Here’s a small taste of what’s to come… enjoy!
This past weekend I had the privilege of shooting the wedding of my friends, Josh and Alicia. You might remember them from the preview of their engagement shoot earlier this year. I actually ran out of time to get a full post of the engagement pictures up before I left for Italy for a month, but here’s a sneak peak at their wedding, with more pictures to come from both their engagement session and their amazing wedding! Enjoy, and stay tuned for more!

You’ve seen the preview … now it’s time for the full post!
Lindsey and Mathieu found me a while ago, and after having a great engagement session with them [and after they sent me to photograph their nephew], the day finally arrived to head up to the Bayview Wildwood Resort in the Muskokas and capture their amazing day!
And what an amazing day it was! A beautiful location, absolutely stunning wedding decor by the wonderful Rachel Clingen, and one of the most fun, laid back couples ever! From the moment Kara and I arrived we felt like we were just another couple of guests at the party … except that I had a job to do! So without dragging this out any longer, let’s go ahead and check out what we all came here to see!
Thanks so much for allowing us to be a part of your celebration, Lindsey and Mathieu! It was beautiful, and we had such a great time! If you’re ever down in KW be sure to stop in and say hi! Enjoy the pictures!

So a little while ago my best friend, Josh, decided that it was finally time to put a ring on the love of his life, Christine. I had the privilege of being there to document his proposal, and jumped at the opportunity to take their official engagement pictures. Especially since I was already booked for his wedding date and will have to miss it. Sad face. But that’s how the wedding industry goes, so at least I was able to contribute to SOME degree.
Josh and Christine went to a local park with myself and my wife Kara, and we braved the swarms of mosquitos [okay, maybe not swarms, but they were nasty little suckers] to grab some awesome shots. It was awesome working with such an energetic and fun couple, and the pictures turned out great!
Congratulations, Josh and Christine! Enjoy the pictures, and I look forward to the bachelor party and all that other fun stuff leading up to the big day!

You’ve seen the two previews… now it’s finally time to see all the amazing pictures from Deb and Scott’s fabulous destination wedding in the Bahamas!
Deb and Scott found me online and we met up in December at a mall in Toronto. While the weather was nice for December, it certainly wasn’t as nice as the weather that my wife Kara and I got to enjoy while shooting this amazing couple’s wedding! Scott’s family is from the Bahamas, and they wanted to have their wedding on a private island off the coast. After wrestling with whether I should shoot it or not [for about two seconds], I jumped at the opportunity to work with them! I even got to take my wife and make a vacation out of it. Actually, I was forced to take her, because she said that she was coming and that there was nothing I could do to stop her. But that’s beside the point.
The wedding was spectacular! Boat rides on the ocean, beautiful sandy beaches, warm [hot!] golden sun, tan lines from sunglasses… just amazing! Top it all off with a reception at the Nassau Yacht Club [and the entire wedding party ending up in the pool by the end of the night], and you’ve got one of the most incredible weddings ever!
Congratulations guys! Thanks again for bringing us down to play a part in your special day! We were honoured, and you made us feel like family. Feel free to have us down to visit sometime! ;o)

This past weekend I had the privilege of shooting Mathieu and Lindsey’s wedding in the Muskokas. You might remember them from their engagement shoot or from their nephew’s baby pictures. Anyway, here’s a sneak peak at their wedding, with more pictures to come! Enjoy!
In carrying on my tradition of not being able to make it through editing a whole destination wedding without having to post a few pictures along the way, here are some MORE from Scott and Deb’s Bahamas bash! Many more amazing shots to come, but hopefully these will satiate everyone out there who’s been asking to see them!
