Scott and Deb will be getting married in the Bahamas on May 15th, 2010, and asked me to come shoot their wedding for them. How could I say no?! In the mean time, however, we braved the cold tundra that was downtown Brampton to get some excellent shots of the happy couple! We had a lot of fun, and got a lot of great shots in the process! I’m definitely looking forward to the wedding… especially the part about not needing to unthaw my hands afterwards! Congratulations, guys!

I don’t typically do much portraiture work, but on occasion I’ll make an exception to take pictures of some ridiculously cute baby. And that’s exactly the case for Levi. Levi’s aunt and uncle had an engagement shoot with me a few months back, and suggested me to his parents. A few months later, I drove my way up to Alliston to take pictures of this legendary baby, and man… he sure is a cutey! Enjoy the pictures!

Darko and Jessica will be getting married in Mexico on April 20th, 2010, and asked me to come with them to capture all the great memories! But although their wedding will be in a nice warm place, they wanted to shake things up a bit and decided to have their e-Session on what felt like the coldest day of the year, in Victoria Park, Kitchener. Despite it being so cold, we all had an absolute blast, and I’m excited that the next time I get to take their pictures my teeth won’t be chattering! Congratulations, guys!

Deb and Scott found my website a few months ago and asked me about coming to shoot their wedding. A pretty typical inquiry… except Scott is from the Bahamas, which is where they’ll be having the ceremony.
How exactly can you say no to that??!
Long story short, I couldn’t. So the other day we went braved the frigid tundra that is downtown Brampton in order to get some amazing engagement pictures. Great times were had by all, in spite of the cold weather and my gimpy foot [I had blocked a shot with my ankle bone playing hockey that morning], and the results are looking great so far! Here’s a preview… more to come soon!

Collin and Danielle will be getting married on March 20th, 2010 in Bloomingdale, Ontario. Their e-Session in Rockwood Conservation Area was an absolute blast, and I’m excited to get to play a part in their big day! Congratulations, guys!

Sometimes great things happen really quickly. Just eight months ago I was sitting in a Starbucks, talking with my friend Jessica about how my wife [at that time my fiancée] and I had met and got engaged within six months, and how sometimes when the right person comes along at the right time of life, things can go forward pretty quickly.
Well, suffice it to say that the same “suddenly” experience happened to Jessica very shortly after that conversation, and she’s now just months away from tying the knot to her fiancé Darko! These two are so much fun to be around, and so easy to take pictures of! It seemed that they were laughing pretty much the entire time we were together, and it was a privilege to get to work with them! Here’s a preview of what’s to come…
A few days ago I took Collin and Danielle to a park and shot them. Collin and I have been friends for a few years, so I was honoured to be asked to take their pictures… and be one of his groomsmen as well. So I’m doing both! Multi-tasking, if you will.
Anyway, here’s a quick preview of the happy couple… more pictures to come!
You might remember Pete and Andrea from the preview that I posted a few months ago. They’re the awesome duo from Brockville Ontario whose picture I’m currently featuring on my website, because they’re really really ridiculously good-looking! Anyway, I’ve finally had time to get around to posting some more highlights from their wedding. It’s been a busy fall and early winter, with numerous weddings… including my own! But now that things have settled down a little bit I’m working on getting some of the pictures of my fabulous couples up on the blog!
So, without further ado, I now present to you Mr. & Mrs. Peter and Andrea Denison!

Thanks to Pete and Andrea for giving me the honour of playing such an important role in your big day! I had so much fun with you guys, and enjoyed being a part of your celebration!
Aimee first met me in 2003 on a mission trip to Peru. Since then she’s grown up and turned into a beautiful bride!
She called me up a few months ago to come down to Pennsylvania and take her pictures as she and Andrew tied the knot, so I did just that and we had a blast! There are plenty more pictures to come, but here’s a sneak peek at my personal favourite:
More pictures coming soon!
Stay tuned!

Hey everyone! Welcome to my new site and blog! I’ve revamped everything and upgraded to Wordpress from my old blogging platform, which will allow me to do things a lot easier and to post from my iPhone… which I just so happen to be doing right now! I’m actually just about to leave for my honeymoon, and will be back in mid-January. Once I’m back you can expect more frequent posts, including live blog posts as I’m taking pictures of my awesome clients all over the world… provided I’m not being charged out the nose for data roaming when I’m out of country, of course! I look forward to hearing all your feedback, and hope you’ll keep me in mind when YOU need some amazing pictures taken! Keep smiling! - David |
